The Miracle Worker

When Anne Sullivan arrived at the Keller household, Helen was just six years old. Helen's parents, Captain Arthur and Kate Keller, were desperate for help, hoping that Anne could bring light into their daughter's life. Anne quickly began her mission to reach Helen and teach her to communicate.

Through consistent effort and patience, Anne continued to introduce new words and ideas to Helen's vocabulary

One of the most significant breakthroughs occurred when Anne pumped water over Helen's hand while signing the word "water" into her palm.
