The movies prose served well in inspiring individuals to achieve greatness and our novel represents the next steps individuals can take by shadowing the many life lessons and existential implications hidden in the film. Every person can learn from the life of Rocky Balboa, his triumphs and his failures, to be better persons themselves in the search for self-actualization. For a film six-ology that has shaped the course of our lives, perhaps the supreme lesson learned is that achievement starts with believing in yourself above all else in combination with having a dream and list of priorities. This novel piggybacks on the implications highlighted in one of America’s great film series in rectitude that hope can evolve into succession, as seen in the life of Rocky Balboa. Also, never forget where you came from, because that will only help you get to where you are going and regard appreciation for all that is to come.
In life we are forced to learn how to cope with complications and some can be arduously sought. The film Rocky and its sequels walk us through the life of one individual that experience most all, as each person will. Implications include, but aren’t limited to, living on less, finding and sustaining love, marriage, family, loss and grief, war and pain, and the importance of friendship and mentorship. The main point here is that life is not meant to be lived alone, but with someone, others and faith in God. Each one of us will go through a period of preparation before succession and in the end death becomes us all, don’t fear the end, but embrace the end. While here on this Earth, live with purpose and happiness will evidently become yours.
