I remember when I was taking HSC physics with the hopes of becoming a physicist I had diligently summarised the dot points in the syllabus without really understanding many of them. What's worse I didn't even realise how little I understood them till I looked over them again after what seemed like a lifetime of mathematics. I am a mathematician now, which I believe to be my true calling and these notes aim for the type of understanding that I feel is more consistent with the dream of becoming a physicist out of high school.
